When I was in middle school and high school I would lay in my room and listen to music, let the lyrics sink in, and feel the rhythm and the melodies. I found escape and belonging all at the same time. Around that time I discovered that life isn't very easy sometimes. I started processing that through making my own music. I took piano lessons and taught myself guitar and starting putting music to my thoughts. Ever since the beginning, writing music has been my search for more. We all do it, search for meaning through different methods, my search has sound and has become something that I can offer to others and say "I am human too. You are not alone. Most days I want more for myself and the world I live in too, come with me and we will try to figure it out together."

My debut EP "Skin, Bones, and Fear" came out January of 2017. It is a three piece collection of alternative folk inspired music. The lyrics tackle themes of being known and loved for who you are, as well as a discovery of community and being able to live life with others and asking for help when necessary.

My sound is still being discovered. I am influenced by living in East Tennessee, where you can discover music of any genre and feel. The local music scene in Knoxville is a diverse community of rockers and poets and bluegrass and every art that you can think of and being a part of it shapes my music, as well as falling in love with alternative folk music in college and never being able to completely kick my punk music phase from high school. I've been writing and plan to release new music in late 2017/early 2018.
